We are tonight delighted to confirm the arrival of goalkeeper Connor Keaney.
The 19-year-old shot stopper, who is a local lad, joins us following a season with Caledonian Braves in the Lowland League
Bankies boss Gordon Moffat commented: “Obviously we brought big Andy (Leishman) in at the start of pre-season, then the situation happened where Kieran Hughes was looking to move on so we had to react fairly quickly.
“Good goalkeepers are quite hard to come by, so it was good we were in a position to get Connor quickly. He was obviously a level up from us with the Braves and although he’s only 19, he brings a bit of experience with him. You can see already he’s a good shot stopper. has good feet and is very athletic, so he will come in and challenge Andy for the number one jersey.
“We’ve got Lucas from our U20s and the plan originally was to get him out on loan which we had to put on hold, so we will be able to try and get him some game time as well.
