Grace McGibbon – Chair and Treasurer
Having been involved since the inception of the UCS Trust back in 2003, Grace was appointed chair of the board in 2018. With a background in retail management, she is responsible for managing the club’s day to day finances, setting the budget and completing the annual accounts. Married to Magnus, Grace attends league meetings on the club’s behalf, hosts visiting clubs and most importantly, always has the kettle on for a cup of tea and a blether.
Matt Bamford – Match Secretary & Vice Chair
As match secretary, Matt is responsible for the club’s administrative duties including player registration. contracts, disciplinary matters and ensuring we comply with the rules and regulations of the footballing authorities. Doubling up as the West of Scotland Football League Chairman, Matt oversees the administration of footballing matters across the West.
Stuart Kelly – Company Secretary
Stuart has a decade of experience practising as a solicitor and is now Deputy Head of Strathclyde Law School. He acts as our company secretary, represents us on the board of Holm Park, as well as being our Scottish FA club licensing lead and child wellbeing officer.
Paul Cummings – UCS Trust Membership Secretary and BankiesTV
Now in his second stint on the board, Paul manages the membership of the United Clydebank Supporters Trust as well as leading our BankiesTV streaming service. Married to Lynne, dad to Daniel and now based in Aberdeen, he is conductor team manager with ScotRail and regularly makes the six hour round trip to support the club.
Bill Abraham – Commercial Director
Having been involved in the club since our rebirth, Bill’s current role as Commercial Director sees him take responsibility for sponsorship. sponsor liaison and non-matchday income streams. With a degree in business studies and a post-grad in business IT, Bill had a 22 year career in IT development and release management before retiring in 2019.
Steven McKerlie-Kemp – Hospitality and Events
The newest addition to the board, Steven joined us in 2022 and is part of the commercial team with specific responsibilities of leading our hospitality and events. Steven works as an environmental operative and enjoys fishing and playing football.
David Harkin – Events and Fundraising
In his second stint on the board having previously served as Match Secretary in the early years, ‘Harkie’ is an experienced events host and currently runs our hugely successful Last Man Standing initiative. Husband to long suffering Susan and dad to Jack, Harkie is also a qualified referee who has recently celebrated 26 years service working for Virgin Money in Glasgow.
Stewart McIlroy – Merchandise and Team Kit
Having recently retired from his role working with the Department of Work and Pensions, Stewart heads up our merchandise and team kit operations. A lifelong fan, he follows in his dad’s footsteps in being on the club’s committee and can regularly be found in the club shop.
Tracy Biggar – Wellness and Disability Liaison
Tracy will be a familiar face to anyone who has attended a Clydebank game in recent times, having operated the gate for nearly 20 years. A registered NHS worker and proud nannie of four, Tracy uses her professional experience and acts as the club’s Wellness and Disability Liaison Officer.
David Brockett – Media and Communications
A full time wheelchair user, David was co-opted onto the board during the COVID interrupted season to help establish BankiesTV, and heads up the club’s media and communications output. A trained journalist currently working as a freelance sports reporter, you’ll probably find him pitchside with a camera.
