CLYDEBANK kicked off their pre season schedule with a 3-1 win over Harmony Row U21s on Tuesday night.
Goals from Greg Cree, Nicky Little and Jordan Shelvey saw Bankies recover from a goal down at Sir Alex Ferguson Park.
Bankies boss Budgie McGhie handed debuts to recent signings Jamie Darroch and Alan Frizzell, with trialist Stuart Hay featuring in midfield.
With just four minutes played, Harmony Row took the lead. After good build up play, the ball found Matty Feeney, who lobbed Tiropoulos from the edge of the area to open the scoring.
Midway through the first half, Stevie Young rattled the crossbar, with Hay also going close as he tried to catch the eye of the Bankies bench.
On the stroke of half time, Bankies levelled. A cross from the right was met by the head of Jordan Shelvey, who sent his header crashing off the bar. Greg Cree was in the right place at the right time to stab the rebound home as Clydebank went in level at the break.
McGhie rang the changes at half time with a quadruple substitution that saw Joel Kasubandi, Phil Barclay, Andy Biddulph and Mark Burbidge replace Stevie Young, Greg Cree, Alan Frizzell and Jordan Shelvey.
Ten minutes after the restart, Bankies took the lead. Burbidge laid the ball off to Little, who turned his man before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting in for a narrow angle.
There was to be some bad news for substitute Andy Biddulph though, who broke his wrist in two places after landing awkwardly and now faces a spell on the sidelines.
With less than five minutes remaining, Jordan Shelvey rounded off the win with a third goal. A long ball over the top was cleared only to Shelvey, who readjusted to place a half volley into the bottom corner as Bankies got off to a winning start.
