Bankies midfielder Joe Slattery has become the latest player to extend his contract with the club, signing an extension until 2024.

Sevvy, who turns 30 today, originally signed from Rossvale in the summer of 2020 and has scored eight goals in his 31 appearances so far.

He said: “It was a no brainer for me, it was probably the easiest decision I’ve had in football.

“This year has been up there with the best time of my footballing career so I’m absolutely delighted.

“The Clyde game was almost surreal just with how well we competed, especially with them being the higher ranked team. Elgin away was really special and none of us will forget that in a hurry.

“The level headedness of Moff and the backroom team really helps us, because we all think there is still more to come. Even with some of the big Scottish Cup results, the performances haven’t been perfect and the only way we can all improve is by setting standards and knowing they will be on your case.

“That for me is a big thing, I don’t just want to sit there and be happy with what we have achieved and that be it. I want to see how much I can get out of my football career and we know it will take a lot of work but this group knows that and are all on the same wavelength. “
