All at Clydebank FC are deeply saddened to hear lifelong Bankie and former UCS Trust director John Cummings passed away in the early hours of this morning.
John was instrumental in the club’s rebirth and is responsible for helping get our current sponsors, Clydebank Coop, on board.
A club stalwart, John was awarded Honorary Trust Membership back in 2013 by then Bankies boss Budgie McGhie.
And who could forget his run in with former Secretary General of the United Nations, Bank Ki-Moon, when John tried to offer him honorary membership!
Our thoughts are with Paul, Ross and the Cummings family at this sad time – RIP John.
