We are delighted to announce vice-captain Oisin McHugh has signed a long term deal to remain with the club.
Local lad Oisin, who came through the Bankies academy system, has penned a new contract until the summer of 2027.
The 23-year-old has grown in stature since making his first team debut back in 2019, going on to make 114 appearances and being handed the vice captaincy in the summer.
Manager Gordon Moffat commented: “We’re delighted to get Oisin tied down on a long term contract. He is a real example of what we can do through our academy, he had two loan spells initially and since he’s returned from that second spell he’s just went from strength to strength.
“He brings a nice balance to the team, but he can also play two or three different positions be it left centre back, left in a three or left full back. He is a tremendous athlete with a brilliant attitude, and that’s seen him work his way up to be vice captain of our club so it’s fantastic we’ve got him committed long term.”
