Camelon Juniors 0 Clydebank 2
Jordan Shelvey’s double helped Kieran McAnespie’s men to their first win of pre season against a strong Camelon side – with new signings Reece Pearson, Ross Forsyth, Chris Black, Josh Watt and Ross Lyden all playing a part.
Clydebank 1 Hamilton Accies U20s 0
Alan Frizzell was on target as Bankies beat Martin Canning’s U20 side 1-0 at Holm Park.
New signings Chris Dooley and Phil Johnston made their home debut and while Bankies rode their luck at times, several good saves – including a penalty stop – from new goalkeeper and coach Scott Morrison saw Bankies hold on for the win.
Gartcairn 1 Clydebank 4
Jordan Shelvey was again on target – scoring twice as Bankies ran out 4-1 winners against the Scottish Junior Cup quarter finalists.
A defensive mix up saw Cairn open the scoring in the first half, before Shelvey levelled after waltzing through the defence and slotting past the substitute goalkeeper. Ryan Forsyth’s header, Alan Frizzell’s screamer and Shelvey’s second of the night saw Bankies round off pre season with their third consecutive win.
