The 25-year-old ex-Kilwinning, Darvel and East Kilbride man came on as a trialist in Saturday’s win and has penned a short term deal with the Bankies.
Boss Gordon Moffat said: “Chris is a well known player at this level, he was obviously at Darvel then went to East Kilbride where by all accounts he was one of their best performers last year.
“He’s had a wee knee issue, which he’s not sure himself how it will go, but he has been training for quite a while and is getting fitter and fitter.
“He’s feeling good, so we’ve done a short term deal just to see how he does and give him an opportunity to play football at this level again.
“There are huge benefits for us; he can play left centre back, left back and as you saw on Saturday, can slot in there in the six position so hopefully it works for both parties.”
